Our newest hotel, the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale, is celebrating the holidays Sonesta-style for the first time this year! Amidst a lobby festooned with blue and white trees with silver ornaments, you can celebrate the “12 Days of Sonesta,” beginning December 13. Each day leading up to Christmas, you can look forward to a surprise holiday treat. And the search will be on for Sonny the Elf, who will make appearances throughout the property, creating mischief wherever he goes. The Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island is thrilled to host a longstanding holiday island tradition, the Festival of Trees. This fun event challenges local organizations to decorate holiday trees, then offers them up for bidding. Proceeds benefit the Hilton Head Preparatory School. We’re also holding our 2nd annual cookie-recipe and gingerbread house contests, a special Thanksgiving Day Champagne Brunch, a kids’ brunch with Santa, daily Happy Hour through December, cooking lessons with our Executive Chef Nelly Buleje, and our Toys for Tots toy drive. The Royal Sonesta New Orleans is jazzing it up for the holidays, starting with our free concert following the 9th Annual Lighting of the Balconies. The illumination of the city’s famed wrought-iron balconies begins December 3 at 6pm, with special guests of honor flipping the switch at 300 Bourbon Street. We’ll also transform our Grand Ballroom into a magical Winter Wonderland to host our Royal Teddy Bear Tea, served December 13-14 and from December 19-22, with seating times at 11am and 2:30pm. This special event features story time with Mrs. Claus, sing-alongs with Rudolph and a toy drive for the Children’s Hospital. You can also delight to a holiday lunch-hour choir each weekday in our lobby, savor a traditional Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day 18th-century Creole “R’evellion” dinner at our award-winning Restaurant R’evolution, enjoy a Christmas Day Champagne Brunch, and ring in the New Year with Irvin Mayfield at our Jazz Playhouse. Plus, we’ve commissioned a local artist to handcraft a special ornament whose sales benefit the local Children’s Hospital. Our special Papa Noel Packages begin at $149 per night.

If you’re having a New England holiday, the Royal Sonesta Boston kicks off the season with a special family-style Thanksgiving meal at the innovative ArtBar.
