After a smashing success of events on the patio this summer, Chef Brian Dandro brings food, art, barbq, oysters and lobster to dinner this Fall with an extraordinary new line-up of food-themed evenings at ArtBar at the Royal Sonesta Boston/Cambridge. ArtBar is known for its breathtaking views of the Charles River and the Boston skyline, and for the creative, delicious dishes presented by Chef Brian Dandro. “We kicked off the Summer with a special line-up of dishes, and we were amazed at the fantastic feedback. People discovered our patio and returned over and over. Now they are asking what we are cooking up for Fall, so here we go!” explains Dandro. ArtBar’s new line-up of dishes and events will be offered through mid-December.
Sunday Oyster Brunch & Bloody Mary Bar
One of the city’s most popular Bloody Mary Brunches just got even better – now there is a special Oyster Menu to match with your make-your-own Bloody Mary. Dandro is planning oysters fried, grilled and on the half shell. Look for Fried Oysters over sweet potato hash with spiced chorizo hollandaise; Grilled Oysters with rosemary butter; Oyster Stew with buttery brioche croutons and more.
Monday Paint Night
Food is Art at ArtBar, and never more true than on Monday evenings, when the restaurant hosts Paint Night. Come for the art on the canvas and the art on the plate. Paint your own masterpiece, and stay for dinner and drinks.

ArtBar is cooking things up ‘low and slow’ on Tuesday nights with fall-off-the-bone ribs, pulled pork, collards, griddled corn bread and “whatever else we can fit on the plate” according to Dandro. The grill will be fired up, and the chef will be preparing ‘over-the-top’ southern BBQ with a heaping plate of BBQ love. ArtBar is always a finalist at Cambridge’s annual “RibFest” event, so guests are looking forward to tasting ArtBarBQ every Tuesday night this Fall.
Wednesday Half Priced Burgers
Check out the special burger menu, with such specialties as our lamb burger with pickled onions and tzatziki sauce as well as all natural griddled beef on a house made egg bun with bacon jam and cave aged cheddar. These burgers are offered half-price on Wednesday evenings thru the Fall.
Did you know that the Fall is actually the best season for lobsters? Dandro is planning on Lobster Pot Pie, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Lobster Risotto and more. “We are taking the lobster one step further, pairing it with New England classics” shares Dandro.
Friday Farm Share
Dandro is a huge fan of Red Fire Farm, a certified organic farm in Granby, MA which produces beautiful vegetables, fruits and flowers. He is also a huge fan of Metro Pedal Power, based in Somerville, MA, which delivers fresh produce from community farms by bike to the Royal Sonesta! The chef is delighted to create “Farm Share Friday’s” where he will be cooking up a special three course prix fix menu with product harvested by Red Fire Farm and delivered by Metro Pedal Power. And a delicious surprise — guests receive a special to-go bag with freshly harvested Red Fire Farm produce. Farm Share Friday Prix Fix Menus will be created weekly with what’s available from the farm.
Saturday Date Night
ArtBar makes it easier than ever to have a night out on the town with the stars overhead. Start with a champagne toast, and then select any two entrees, share an appetizer and a dessert, all for the special Date Night price of $60.
