When searching for the ideal hotel to stay at during your vacation, the options are seemingly unlimited. From Marriotts to Hiltons, there are a number of big names that are well known and by default – trusted. But what about Sonesta? As a lesser known brand, we may not have quite the same recognition that many other big name hotel chains do — but what does that say about our guests’ experiences? Take a look at just a few of our reviews from TripAdvisor to see for yourself! Trust us — you won’t be disappointed.
“I went to many hotels, including Marriott, Las Vegas Sands, and Hyatt… Sonesta has the best bed ever! I had to sleep with my kid but I was still able to sleep without feeling a monkey was punching or kicking me… the mattress is out of this world!”

“After failing to find a suitable suite at the local Flagstaff Marriott and Hilton chains, I was pointed in the direction of the Sonesta brand — and what a find! This modern, chic hotel was as comfortable and clean as it was classy, with the best continental breakfast I have ever had and swanky furniture that gave our Flagstaff stay a fancy touch! My boyfriend and I felt like we had walked onto the set of a 1960s mod movie. The pool was fantastic and open year-round, which was a great way to relax during our outdoor winter hiking expeditions. The char appeal was high and the staff were so welcoming and down-to-earth — that made our stay even more relaxing. It felt more like a home than a hotel with none of the bust tourist bustle or corporate atmosphere.”

My wife and I recently spent 4 nights at the Royal Sonesta Baltimore. The hotel has a great location. From the moment we pulled into the quiet courtyard of the entrance, we had great service from the staff, as we were warmly greeted. Mike at the front desk checked us in and provided great information of the surrounding area. We had reserved a suite on the 6th floor. The view from the double floor to ceiling windows had a great view of the harbor. The room was well-appointed and did live up to its AAA Four Diamond award.
We also had breakfast every morning at the hotel. The food was great and the service we received from Sean was outstanding. Sean found out we were celebrating out 31st anniversary and surprised us with chocolate strawberries and champagne.
We had narrowed out choices between the Royal Sonesta and Four Season hotel. I can say we are glad we chose Royal Sonesta, and will surely be returning to this hotel.

“This is a former Marriott Residence Inn. Sonesta just remodeled all the rooms. They are clean, modern, and bright with a soft color palette. The staff is wonderful and attentive to detail. The exercise room and the pool are so well maintained. For Omaha, this is a great choice to stay at.”

“I stayed her when it was a Residence Inn. I was ok/happy with my stay but the Sonesta Suites ownership group has lifted the quality of the hotel in a major way. Everything from bedding to redesigned rooms. I’ll be back!”
