92% of Sonesta Properties Earn Top TripAdvisor Ratings

There is no larger compliment we can receive than a rave review. And this year, our guests have posted hundreds on TripAdvisor. In all, 36 of our 39 hotels have received consistently outstanding traveler reviews (an overall rating of at least 4 out of 5) on the world’s largest travel site, earning them all a TripAdvisor 2017 Certificate of Excellence. It’s the best news we could hope to receive in a world of consumer-driven digital media.

“This is a tremendous honor and it reflects our dedication to our guests,” said Scott Weiler, VP Marketing & Communication. “We know that when people research potential vacation destinations, they count on TripAdvisor for guest reviews and insights on the best places to stay. The Certificate of Excellence reinforces our dedication to provide an outstanding guest experience for everyone.”

Sonesta Consistently Ranks Best of the Best

Only the top-performing 10% of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive the prestigious Certificate of Excellence. So you can imagine that we were pleased to hear that 36 out of 39 Sonesta U.S. hotels received the award. What’s more, 46 out of our 61 hotels worldwide were awarded the same accolade (cruise ships are not profiled on TripAdvisor). We owe the prize to our staff, who have maintained and exceeded our exemplary service standards, even as Sonesta has added a significant number of hotels to our portfolio.

“It means the world to us that so many of our guests are going out of their way to post such positive reviews on TripAdvisor,” Weiler continued. “I think it speaks to the sense of community and caring that we strive to create at each and every property. And we’ll continue to deliver the world to them with excellent service and unforgettable stays in unrivalled settings.”
