Teddy Bear Tea at Royal Sonesta New Orleans

Royal Sonesta New Orleans Teddy Bear Tea

The holiday season is a magical time of year in New Orleans, and there is no better place to create family memories than at  Royal Sonesta New Orleans Teddy Bear Tea. Kids of all ages light up when they walk into the ballroom holiday wonderland where unforgettable experiences like story time with Mrs. Claus and a sing-along with Rudolph await. Teddy Bear Tea is such a special event that Santa himself makes the trip from the North Pole to attend.

in the spirit of Sonesta’s Culture of Caring, Teddy Bear Tea at Royal Sonesta New Orleans is also a time to give back and brighten the holiday season for children who need it most. Every year the hotel partners with Children’s Hospital of New Orleans to give back to the community by collecting toys for the Toy Drop, hosting patients at a special Royal Teddy Bear Tea and by bringing the Royal Teddy Bear Tea to the residents of Children’s Hospital. In 2017, a new initiative makes it easy for guests to support Children’s Hospital through a raffle when tickets are purchased. A $5 donation enters participants into a raffle for the chance to win a grand prize package:

  • Two night stay at Royal Sonesta New Orleans
  • Sunday Jazz Brunch for two in Restaurant R’evolution
  • VIP seating with cocktails for two in The Jazz Playhouse
  • Original hand-painted piece of art by local artist Logan Ledford

At Teddy Bear Tea, each child is invited to “share the magic” of the season by donating a small, unwrapped gift for the Children’s Hospital Toy Drop.
