Join the Holiday Revelry in St. Louis

We can think of no better way to celebrate our first holiday season at The Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta Hotel St. Louis than by introducing a whole host of new and festive traditions! Bringing a little Sonesta revelry to our new and exciting hotel is our way of saying “thank you” to the Gateway City and its residents for welcoming us so warmly.

It all starts in the Starlight Ballroom, where a sumptuous and bountiful Thanksgiving brunch will be presented, brimming with charcuterie, breakfast favorites, a carving station, and more. We’re also proud to feature the innovative and creative desserts of our new and talented pastry chef Josh House.

Our official Holiday Kickoff gets underway November 30 when Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive by horse-drawn carriage and mingle with guests. Hot chocolate, delicious cookies, champagne, and an elegant gingerbread village – complete with The Chase Park Plaza and the St. Louis Arch – add a sweet touch as carolers spread the joy of the season.

Angelic carolers return every Saturday evening in December from 5:30 to 7:30. On Sunday, December 17, the beautiful strains of Hanukkah music will fill the lobby. And throughout the month, savor our French-themed “Reveillon Dinner” at The Preston, a delectable 4-course prix fixe menu. It all counts down to Christmas Day, when our Executive Chef promises a superb menu befitting the holiday. What’s more, you can ring in 2018 with us over a splendid breakfast buffet on New Year’s Day.
