Accumulating Points

$1 = 10 points. Members earn 10 points for every dollar spent on a qualified room rate at participating locations. With the ability to earn a free night in as few as 15,000 points earned, members can accumulate free nights faster, as well as enjoy a number of benefits including upgraded WiFi, complimentary room upgrades, early check-in and late check-out.

Redeeming Points

Sonesta Travel Pass points never expire and there are no blackout dates. It’s easy to redeem Sonesta Travel Pass points at participating locations in the United States, South America and St. Maarten, either online or via phone by calling (855) 622-2160. Redemption requests are confirmed based on hotel availability.

Status

Membership levels are as follows:

  • Member levelbegins upon enrollment
  • Preferred levelrequires six (6) qualifying nights in a calendar year
  • Elite levelrequires twelve (12) qualifying nights in a calendar year

Sonesta will match members’ preferred and elite level in other hotel loyalty programs. If you’re not elite elsewhere, not to worry, you can earn elite status with Sonesta in just 12 nights. More information on membership levels can be found here.
