Nothing compares to a sweet, delicious cup of hot cocoa. So when Hot Cocoa Day rolled around this past December 3rd, our 42 Sonesta ES Suites hotels all over the country answered the call with a special Everyday Surprise!
Whether during the breakfast hour at the buffet table or as an afternoon pick-me-up at Pour, guests and staff alike indulged in the chocolatey favorite. Marshmallows, candy canes, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings were all on hand for more fun and flavor.
Up north, where temperatures hovered near or below freezing, the treat came with a touch of nostalgia for the days when life moved a little more slowly … when families cozied up by a crackling fire after building a snowman or throwing snowballs. Down south, many folks equally enjoyed the cocoa as a refreshing cold drink or even as a frozen smoothie. Suffice to say that many a sweet tooth was satisfied everywhere.
