San Francisco is home to the fourth oldest humane society in the U.S., the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Their mission is to save and protect animals and provide care and treatment for them, all while working to enhance the bonds between humans and animals. To those ends, the worthy organization has brought the euthanasia rate of animals to the lowest of any U.S. city.

It’s a mission we can get behind. So The Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel has partnered with Tito’s vodka to support the city’s cats and dogs in need of a home and veterinary care. Every day in February when the hotel’s restaurant, The Redwood Room, hosts its “Decompression Hour” from 4:00 to 7:00PM, The Clift has been donating $1.00 to the SPCA for every Tito’s drink it sells. Tito’s will match all donations up to $2,500.

Can’t make it to The Redwood Room before month’s end? Then raise a glass to the many joys of dogs and cats and contact your local SPCA to make a donation.
