St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and our hotels are celebrating in some delicious and festive ways! At The Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta Hotel St. Louis, guests can celebrate the holiday with the Irish Goodbye cocktail as St. Louis marks the 50th anniversary of its St. Patrick’s Day parade.
2 oz. Jameson
.75 oz Lime Juice
.5 oz Luxardo liqueur
.25 oz Green Chartreuse
Top with ginger beer and a bar spoon of Luxardo cherry juice
Muddle 5-6 mint leaves. Add Jameson, lime juice, and green chartreuse to a shaker. Shake. Single strain into Collins glass. Top with ginger beer and add cherry juice. Garnish with two luxardo cherries on bamboo skewer.
Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta will be raising a toast to St. Patrick’s Day with two cocktail specials, the Irish Maid and the Thin Mint Cookie Shooter, along with a menu featuring Irish stew, corned beef and cabbage, and other holiday fare.
The Irish Maid
1 oz Jameson Caskmate
½ oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
½ oz simple syrup
2 oz club soda
Squeeze of lemon
2 slices of cucumber
Combine all ingredients over ice in cocktail shaker. Shake to combine. Pour into tall Collins glass. Add two slices of cucumber and sprig of mint.
Irish Thin Mint Cookie Shooter
1 oz green crème de menthe
½ oz white crème de cocoa
1 oz Baileys Irish Cream
Combine all ingredients into shot glass and top with whipped cream.
At Sonesta Bee Cave Austin, St. Patrick’s Day will be celebrated with a Cajun style twist at their rooftop crawfish boil!
