As we prepare to celebrate all things red, white, and blue this 4th of July, our hotels are getting their best Independence Day cocktail recipes ready, and we are happy to share them with you to recreate at home! Whether you’re grilling at home or relaxing pool or beach side, you’ll want to have festive drinks for the 4th, and we hope you’ll include Sonesta #liquidart in your celebrations.
1 oz. bbq sauce
1.5 oz Wild Turkey
½ oz Peach Schnapps
3 oz. OJ
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and shake until emulsified.
Serve in a handled mason jar, garnished with bacon slab and orange section.

Strawberries & Blueberries
Red Coconut flakes for rim
Muddle blueberries with peach schnapps, lime juice and simple syrup in a mixing tin.
Add sliced strawberries, ice, coconut water and vodka.
Pour in a highball glass that has a red coconut rim.
Red, White, and Blue Vodka Lemonade Slushies
1 oz Strawberry Puree
8 oz Lemonade
1 ½ oz Blue Curacao
1 oz Triple Sec
Combine strawberry puree and lemonade in blender with ice. Blend together and pour into desired glass. Combine vodka, lemonade and ice and blend. Pour over red layer. Combine blue curacao and triple sec with ice and blend. Pour over white layer. Desired effect is to have 3 well defined layers of red, white and blue.
The Liberty Bell
2 oz. Patron Silver Tequila
2 oz. Soda water
1 oz. Lime Juice
.5 oz. Patron Citronge Lime
.25 oz. Hibiscus syrup
In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients except hibiscus syrup and soda water with ice. Shake vigorously to chill.
In the bottom of a Collins glass, add the hibiscus syrup and fill the glass with crushed ice. Slowly strain the chilled mixture over the ice.
Top with soda water and fill the top of the glass with blueberries.
Red, White, & Boozy
Add Pina Colada mix to tin with ice.
Add 1.5 oz light rum, coconut rum, spiced rum, or other desired spirit to mixing tin.
Shake vigorously and strain over fresh ice into Collins glass, filling glass 90%.
Lightly drizzle Blue Curacao, followed by strawberry puree drizzle on top of ice, for visual tie-dyed effect.
Garnish with fresh strawberry.
.5 oz floral simple syrup
.5 oz honey
1.5 oz El Mayor Blanco Tequila
.5 oz Luxardo Liqueur
.5 oz coconut milk
Bar spoon of Greek yogurt
Muddle first 4 ingredients in bottom of shaker. Combine remaining ingredients with ice and shake. Fine strain into coup. Garnish with additional fruit and baby’s breath.
