The exhibit offers a new view of the beloved and iconic American Pop artist, not only illuminating the breadth, depth, and interconnectedness of Warhol’s production across the entirety of his career but also highlighting the ways that he anticipated the issues, effects, and pace of our current digital age.

Those who know Sonesta know our love of art and our early connections to well-known artists, including Andy Warhol; this exhibit is perfectly timed with our Chicago opening! Many of our hotels feature original art and are located in cities with extensive art collections. At Royal Sonesta Boston, a Warhol Campbell’s Soup Dress has been a conversation piece and frequently photographed piece of the hotel. Sonesta Philadelphia Downtown Rittenhouse Square, an art hotel in an art city, you can plan a meeting in the Warhol Room, complete with original artwork hanging on the walls in the meeting space.

If you love art as much as we do, be sure to add a trip to Chicago to your travel plans while the exhibit is in the city, and check out all of the other incredible exhibits the Art Institute has while you are there.
