A stunning wedding at The Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta St.Louis is sure to brighten your day. Jamie and Richie tied the knot in The Chase’s historic Khorassan Ballroom in October 2019. From getting ready in the newly renovated guest rooms to taking photos on the Starlight rooftop terrace to dancing the night away in the beautiful Khorassan Ballroom, every part of this day was memorable.
Jamie and Richie’s wedding was the first to take place in the Khorassan Ballroom since its complete renovation. While the classic soaring ceilings and Art Deco lighting remain the same, new carpeting, wall coverings, and wedding chairs flourished in this reception setting.
The ceremony itself took place in Khorassan West, where the couple exchanged their vows and performed the Jewish traditions of signing the Ketubah and breaking the glass. The couple then moved into Khorassan Main where the celebration continued with dinner, drinks and dancing. The beautifully set tables made their own statement with breathtaking floral centerpieces of roses, baby’s breath, and greenery.
As dinner concluded, wedding guests enjoyed delicious cake baked by the hotel’s talented pastry team. In addition to the classic white wedding cake, the pastry team also created this “Dead and Company” inspired Groom’s Cake, which was very special to Richie and his father.
The couple ended their night with family and friends at an after party in Chase Club, one of Chase Park Plaza’s on-site restaurants.
