Working with our primary partner, Ecolab, we have created Stay Safe with Sonesta – a program that exceeds all CDC, WHO, and governmental requirements and recommendations related to the pandemic. This program will evolve as we continue to update our procedures and protocols to ensure our standards maintain the most relevant levels of protection for our guests and employees.
Staying Safe with Sonesta includes the following actions:
Enhanced Cleaning & Sanitizing – rigorous cleaning protocols and use of hospital-grade disinfectants from Ecolab (CDC approved), public areas sanitized at least every 3 hours, Housekeeping services follow CDC-recommended disinfectant protocols.
Guest Protection & Social Distancing – adherence to 6-foot distancing, touchless check-in/out, food & beverages modified to single-serve, sanitizer available at Entrance, Front Desk, Fitness Center, Elevator, Lobby and all high traffic/high contact touch points.
Guest Room Safety Modifications – full cleaning, sanitizing and sealing for new arrivals, mid-stay cleaning by request only, removal of non-essential items.
Team Member Safety & Preparedness – enhanced Stay Safe with Sonesta training, supplied personal protection equipment, daily health checks.
Meeting & Event Space Protocols – social distance room set-ups, removal of non-essential items, enhanced cleaning protocols, food & beverage modified to single-serve.
