We’re excited to share that the number of places you can #StaySonesta has grown by 99 this week, with even more locations to come! On December 1, we celebrated monumental growth, embraced new team members (from a safe distance), and opened our newest doors to our guests.

In addition to welcoming new hotels to our Royal Sonesta, Sonesta Hotels and Resorts, and Sonesta ES Suites families, we were proud to raise the flag of our newest brand, Sonesta Simply Suites, which launches with 61 properties nationwide and will be expanding in 2021.

Included in the many new destinations in the Sonesta portfolio are Washington, DC, Seattle, San Diego, Denver, and Anaheim.

In addition to the extensive list of new destinations, we’ve also expanded our offerings in cities where we currently have hotels. In Atlanta, we’ve added seven new hotels, increasing our presence there to 12 total hotels in the greater Atlanta area, while in Chicago, the addition of Allegro Royal Sonesta Chicago West Loop increased our presence to 12 Sonesta properties in the area. We also added four new hotels in Detroit, six new properties in Florida, and four new Sonesta Simply Suites to our portfolio in Houston.

The introduction of our new brand, Sonesta Simply Suites, will allow us to strengthen our foothold in the extended stay arena catering to travelers who require a modest longer-term option.”
