Art and music are part of the history of The Allegro Royal Sonesta Hotel Chicago and throughout the decades have been reasons travelers and locals have flocked to the property. Throughout its history, the building has been host to vaudeville shows, the sounds of the big band era, traveling Broadway shows, cabaret, and more. One step inside The Allegro takes you back to a bygone era with its old school glamour, while offering all of the modern amenities guests love.

Once again, the hotel is center of the Chicago arts scene with its Artist Window Series ; art and music are back at The Allegro Royal Sonesta Hotel Chicago! The hotel’s windows are currently adorned with art by Lewis Achenbach, a Chicago based artist who captures the vibrant jazz scene and jazz performers through visual works, surging with energy, long lines, and bold colors.

Even more exciting is the addition of music to the art installation. Thursday Night Life Music Season 2 kicks off Thursday, May 20.
