Fall Cocktail Recipes

Autumn is here, and it is time for fall foliage, fire pits, hearty meals, and cocktails inspired by the flavors of the season. We asked our Sonesta mixologists to share some of the fall cocktail recipes they have been enjoying, and we have included a few of them below. Whether you’re traveling or not this autumn, you can enjoy a taste of Sonesta wherever you are when you mix up one of these autumnal delights!

Here + Now Sonesta Columbus Downtown

1.5oz High Bank Vodka
.5oz Lemon
.5oz Honey
2 Raspberries
2oz Cava Brut
Shake with ice, serve in a coup glass, topped with Cava brut. Garnish with lemon.

Sinners + Saints – Sonesta Columbus Downtown

1.5 oz High Bank Vodka
5 oz Lime
2 Strawberries
2 leaves Basil
2 oz Ginger Beer
Shake with ice in a mule mug with muddled strawberry, and basil garnish. Serve on the rocks.

Fire + Brimstone – Sonesta Columbus Downtown

2 oz. V+F High Bank Barrel Proof Batch
1 oz. Carpano Antica
2 dashes BBQ Bitters
Smoke
Shake with ice and pour over a large cube, Carpano Antica, bitters stirred in a cedar smoked rocks glass.

Chocolate Pumpkin Pie – Steelpan at Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach

1.25 oz. Vodka
1.25 oz. Godiva Dark Chocolate
1 oz. Half & Half

Shake with ice, Pour into Martini glass. Top it with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Royal Pimm’s CupThe Allegro Royal Sonesta Hotel Chicago
Orange zest infused Pimm’s
Rum
Demerara
Lemon Juice
Ginger beer float
Orange brandied cherry

Royal Pimm’s Cup was inspired by the Original Pimm’s Cup which was enjoyed in the English countryside. The original ingredients were Pimm’s Liquor, ginger ale and a assortment of garnishes. Our Royal Pimm’s Cup has orange zest infused Pimm’s and Banks rum, Demarara, lemon juice and ginger beer, garnished with orange and brandied cherry flag.

Autumn’s RushThe Stephen F Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel
1 oz. Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
1 oz. Monkey Shoulder Scotch
1/4 oz. All Spice Dram
1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
2 dashes Bitter Truth Aromatic Bitters
2 dashes Woodford Reserve Chocolate Bitters Hard Shake
Strain into Large Coupe
Top with Ginger Brew
Garnish: Fresh Ground Nutmeg and long orange twist

The Nashville Tap House Old Fashioned Recipe Sonesta Nashville Airport
6 dashes of bitters
1 oz. of simple syrup
2 oz. of Maker’s Mark Private Select
1 Luxardo Cherry
1 Orange peel rimmed the glass then twisted and place in the glass.
