Welcome to the latest feature in our Hospitality Leadership series! Today we introduce you to Jennifer Rausch, Chief People Officer for Sonesta, a busy role, especially right now as we are a growing company!
Jennifer has been part of the Sonesta team since 2013, and during her time with the company, she has served as Senior Director and VP, leading up to her promotion to Chief People Officer in 2021. As part of her role, Jennifer leads a team of HR professionals who are responsible for design, development and execution of all Sonesta company-wide HR programs including; benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruiting, training, HRIS, employee engagement, organizational design and development.
During Jennifer’s time at Sonesta, our company has grown to nearly 10,000 employees, and Jennifer has both grown the HR team at the corporate office in addition to adding HR roles in the Field. She has been a resource for bringing new managed hotels into the portfolio as well as assisting in the acquisition of Red Lion Hotels.
A graduate of Widener University, Jennifer has 20+ years of experience with organizations going through transformational changes, including several senior leadership HR roles at Fidelity Investments prior to joining Sonesta.
