“Perfect Location, Gorgeous Rooms, and Delicious Food!”
“Our visit to Nola was magnificent in part to our excellent accommodations and service at the Royal Sonesta. Since we were early for room check-in, our bags were tagged quickly and stored.
April checked us in flawlessly and politely. Ebony at Desire is the best hostess I have ever encountered in all my years of travel. Ebony is kind and gracious even when customers are not. Latrell’s gumbo at Desire is absolutely scrumptious, and we ate at Desire and received excellent service from Trisha, Robert, and Pete. We had no problem getting extra towels or Keurig K-cups! The maids were friendly and their Covid cleaning procedures were incredible. The pool area and the bar are beautiful and well- maintained. A balcony on the pool side guarantees quiet, as Bourbon Street can be rowdy and loud. Concierge Wilbert Washington arranged our taxi to the airport and his efficiency is admired! Our trip to Nola was made all the more enjoyable due to the efforts of those dedicated and friendly employees at the Royal Sonesta.”

“Wonderful Short Stay”
“My partner and I had to book a place pretty last minute. We had a week and a half until we were going to be in San Francisco, so I had a last minute scramble. I did a lot of research of places to stay around Union Square and landed on choosing The Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel. I was definitely glad we went with this hotel!! The building could not be more centrally located. It’s surrounded by different fun shops and restaurants. The hotel was very nice. The lobby had so many places to sit if one wanted to do so. I also really appreciated the COVID-19 policies. Masks were required in all public spaces and the policies they were keeping were clearly stated on the website. That was one thing we were definitely looking for. Before I arrived, I was asked if I had a preference of the location of the room. I asked for something quiet and asked for a view if possible. They were easily able to accommodate us! Our room was on an upper floor with a city view and I could barely hear anything. Everything was so wonderful. We even were able to have a drink at the famous Redwood Room! It was so beautiful in there. I will definitely come back to the Sonesta one day.”

“Flawless stay in a lovely place“
“Really enjoyed this. I liked the upscale but funky vibe I saw in the pictures, the location was great, and the price was right. What an excellent find! Staff was great, from the guy who parked my car to every single person I spoke with or saw. Excellently walkable to the Pearl District, shopping, good eats.
Super clean, and they’re very attentive to COVID protocols. With the kitchen closed they’ve arranged breakfast and lunch delivery from nearby Cheryl’s, which is superb. Nice little extra: there’s a serious line outside Cheryl’s for weekend brunch. Rather than wait in the rain, tra-la, you can just call from your room.”

“Although we were not very lucky with the weather, it rained for several days from 11/18 till 11/22, but staying at Sonesta hotel brightened up all the shortcomings. The ocean is very close, you just have to cross the street and sunbeds and umbrellas are already prepared and neatly arranged. I would especially mentioned the polite and attentive attitude of the staff. My personal thanks to front desk assistances Suzette And Shenoya which are always very professional in resolving any issues.
A persistently positive and hospitable attitude towards visitors creates a good mood and confidence in choosing the right vacation spot. This is especially important during the period of COVID restrictions. If you are looking for a quiet and COVID safe vacation, then Sonesta is the right choice.”
