A Peachy Georgia Cocktail & Spring Pasta from Sonesta’s Newest ArtBar

With inspiration from its namesake at the Royal Sonesta Boston, the new ArtBar at the Sonesta Gwinnett Place offers southern favorites alongside American and international dishes. With local art on the walls and a lively music scene on the schedule, it’s also the perfect place for a Liquid Art signature cocktail – the Georgia Mule. And we’re happy to offer a taste here, straight from our new seasonal menu.

Pasta Primavera – ArtBar style

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces Gemelli pasta cooked
  • 1 each sliced cooked Portobello mushroom
  • 4 each roasted plum tomato halves
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 tablespoons minced shallot
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup vegetable stock
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation:

Place olive oil in sauté pan add vegetables and roast to heat add stock then shallot and garlic simmer for two minutes, add stock and white wine simmer for 1 minute, add pasta and butter cook until sauce tightens, toss with half of the cheese and parsley, season to taste serve in large pasta bowl garnish with remaining cheese.
