Drink Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and several Sonesta Hotels are bringing awareness to the fight against breast cancer with special menu items, cocktails, spa treatments, and more, while also supporting a variety of local and national breast cancer related organizations.

Pink cocktails for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

If you’re visiting Sonesta Philadelphia, drink specials offered feature a hydrating          non-alcoholic smoothie and a pink martini made with lychee puree and grapefruit. 20% of proceeds from the Pink Lady – Pink Lychee Martini will be donated to Living Beyond Breast Cancer. If you can’t make it to Philadelphia, use the below recipes to make your own pink drinks at home.

At Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island, guests can enjoy sipping on specialty pink cocktails throughout the month of October, with $1 from each being donated to the American Cancer Society.

Tickled Pink

Their delicious concoctions include:

– Tickled Pink – a delightful mixture of gin, muddled cucumber, fresh lemon, simple syrup and a splash of cranberry juice

-Strawberry Smash – a fruity combination of citrus vodka, elderflower liquor, fresh lemon and muddled strawberry topped with a dash of soda

-Raspberry Lemon Drop – citrus vodka paired with Chambord, muddled raspberry, fresh lemon, simple syrup and soda

In addition to cocktail specials, Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island offers a “Think Pink” overnight package and a “pink table” at Heyward’s Restaurant, giving guests additional opportunities to support breast cancer awareness efforts. Pink manicures and pedicures will be available at Arum Spa, with 10% of the proceeds from each treatment being donated to the American Cancer Society.

At Royal Sonesta Houston, it’s rosé all month, with $1 from each glass of rosé being donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
