Halloween cocktail recipeBlack Magic at ArtBar, Royal Sonesta Boston

1 ¾ oz dark rum
¾ lime juice
½ simple syrup
2 dash orange bitters
2 oz porter beer
Garnish with dry ice square

ArtBar introduces a ghoulishly good Halloween cocktail: Black Magic.  Available on Halloween, October 31 only, the cocktail is scary delicious.  While it may look like witches brew, bubbling and smoking over, this bewitching brew is the most memorable cocktail you will experience this year.  The dark rum cocktail is the perfect trick or treat.  Disarmingly a very simple concoction, the drink is an explosion of flavor – well balanced with dark flavors and a hint of lime.  The cocktail is served with dry ice, the secret Halloween special effect.  As the dry ice hits the liquid, Black Magic begins to “boil,” emitting a dense, creepy fog.
