Royal Sonesta Boston, for example, is currently home to a pop up visit from the Sneaker Museum, which is dedicated to presenting innovative, educational and artistic programming elevating sneaker art and culture. The exhibit, which is called Art for your Feet, was recently celebrated with a reception complete with a sneaker cake!

The larger-than-life creation was made by Royal Sonesta Boston executive pastry chef Christina Allen-Flores and served as an impressive conversation piece for the event, where Sneaker Museum founder Rick Kosow shared information and background on the museum.
Kosow’s collection includes 1,000 pairs of the most coveted sneakers of all time, including 800 pairs of Nike Air Jordans. Past shoe owners include famous athletes, musicians, and artists, and the collection also includes high-fashion sneakers and sneakers inspired by Andy Warhol, whose pieces are displayed at Sonesta properties such as Royal Sonesta Boston and Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square.
Art for your Feet was launched in time for the Boston Marathon and is part of Art Week, but the exhibit was just extended at Royal Sonesta Boston through June 15. It is open to the public and definitely worth a visit for those who will be in the Boston area.
