Toast To The Holidays With Sonesta #LiquidArt

The holiday season has arrived, and we are ready to celebrate! From festive decorations to special menus to holiday parties and cooking at home, this time of year is one of our favorites. Of course, that means we have cocktail recipes to share with you. Enjoy Sonesta #liquidart throughout the holiday season and to ring in the New Year. See below for a few cocktails our mixologists have been enjoying recently, and be sure to take a photo and tag us on Facebook or Instagram if you decide to make them at home.

The Minne Royal, submitted by Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown, the newest addition to the Sonesta portfolio.


Ingredients:
1 oz Lo-Fi Gentian Amaro
1 oz Tattersall Orange Crema
1 oz Pom Pomegranate juice
Prosecco
Garnish: Edible flower or orange twist

Build:
Shake the first 3 ingredients with ice.
Strain into a coupe glass
Top with prosecco

Mrs. Claus’s Cranberry Lime Spritzer, submitted by Sonesta Nashville Airport
1 ounce Vodka
.5 ounce triple sec
Dash of Lime juice
Fill with Cranberry juice
Splash of Spite

Serve over ice. Garnish with mint and Luxardo cherries.

The following recipes are from Sonesta Charlotte Executive Park.

Tanqueray Almond
1 ¼ ounces Tanqueray Gin
¾ ounce Frangelico Liqueur
4 ounces sweet and sour mix
3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Serve over ice with a lime wheel garnish.

Chocolate Peppermint Martini
1 ounce Smirnoff Vodka
1 ounce Peppermint Schnapps
½ ounce Godiva Chocolate Liqueur 

Shake, strain, and serve in a martini glass.

Winter Whiskey Sour
2 ounces Makers Mark Bourbon
½ ounce of Honey
3 ounces Orange juice
Splash of lemon juice

Serve over ice with a lemon wheel garnish.

Mistletoe Margarita
1 ¼ ounce Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila
¾ ounce Grand Marnier
3 ounces Cranberry Juice
Splash of lime juice

Serve over ice with a lime wedge garnish and salt rim.

Black Velvet – Submitted by Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island
1.5 ounces Burnt Church Distillery Bourbon
Muddled Blackberries
.5 ounce Simple syrup/Lime Juice
Shake and serve over ice. Garnish with a blackberry.
